Cedar Labs commissioned to conduct performance testing of new Unity SIF standard

by Cedar Labs, on Mar 31, 2022 12:00:00 AM

Minneapolis, MN: The Access for Learning (A4L) community’s newest version of their SIF (Schools Interoperability Framework) standard, called “Unity”, provides a number of significant benefits for districts, states, and software vendors implementing it. One of the most significant of these benefits is performance. As the scope and volume of education data needs continues to skyrocket, the need for a modern, well-architected standard that can meet these needs, without bottlenecks or compromised performance, has never been greater. In order to prove the effectiveness of the new Unity standard, the A4L community called on Cedar Labs to conduct a series of performance tests to demonstrate the capabilities. Cedar Labs successfully processed hundreds of millions of records per hour on the Unity standard. Click here for more information from A4L on the performance test.
